We’ve talked about setting goals in an earlier post and I shared with you how I am aiming for an Adsense income of $200 for the month of August 2007 and how I aim to hit the $400 per month mark around December 2007.

What I didn’t tell you is another goal that I have and that it is actually what pulls me more than the money itself.  In reality money is no more that numbers on paper (or the screen) or paper and metal.  It is not the material that is important but the value which it represents and what money can be exchanged for.

Some of the money I earn will be reinvested into growing my business in order for me to be able to have greater value to exchange in the future, but the other part, and the one that currently pulls me, is that my current income can send me travelling the world to exotic places once every year.

This winter that money will take my wife and me to visit family in South Africa, go on a Safari and experience nature in a way that we have never done before.  On the way home we’re going to swing by the small tropical island of Mauritius to spend 10 days lying on the beach drinking exotic drinks (or whatever).

Beautiful Tropical Wonderland

Currently I live in Scandinavia (Sweden at the moment, but moving to Denmark within a few months). We’re seeing a lot of rain here, even though it is August and should be sunny and summer-like.  Can you see how an inner picture of traveling to South Africa to go on a Safari and how lying on a white breach looking out over the ocean will make me get up early and go to bed late in order to build my online business? :)

That is what the current online income can do for my wife and me.  Next year we might be able to go on a cruise in the Caribbean Sea AND travel to see the Opera House in Sidney Australia. As the income increases (which it will as long as I keep working the business and reinvesting part of the income), we’ll be able to travel more, buy more things and have more extraordinary experiences.

What is pulling you to constantly work on you business from early morning to late nights?

Running a successful blog required good website hosting. You don’t want to end up loosing the site you have worked so hard to build. One of the better solutions is a hosting company called ipowerweb. Another is aplus. When you have your hosting setup you will need a great solution for web design. You can do it yourself or hire someone to help you design the site.
