I recently visited the blog with the appealing name SmartWealthyRich and I came across a post about “getting rid of the middleman“. Now who don’t want that (??), so I began to read.  Basically the idea was to skip the fees that Text Link Ads (TLA) are charging and then sell links on your website through eBay or similar service.

Honestly I like the idea but then again I can see why TLA is doing so extremely well and that’s because it is EASY.  Sure you can sell your links on eBay and you will definitely be able to make a lot more money but the question is whether that is the best way to spend your time?

Instead of setting up eBay accounts and dealing with potential buyers etc. then what could you be doing in order to grow your company even further? If you are still new in the online game you might find it very appealing to make an extra $25 selling you own link but how many hours will it cost you? If you don’t already have an eBay account you can easily spend 3, 4 or maybe even 5 hours before you have your first sale.  The result would be a lousy $5/hour and I do believe that your time is worth a lot more than that?

Now if you don’t want to give TLA all the potential income (that could be yours) then why not go hire someone to do the link selling for you?  By outsourcing you will be able to apply what is called leverage (meaning using other people’s time for less money than you can make in the same amount of time if you invest your time in the best possible way).

Go visit forums like DigitalPoint or v7n (you need to go there anyway to learn more so you can make more money), and while you’re there try searching for people that can help you out.  Finding a few good people that will assist you in the time ahead is priceless and well worth the time is takes to find them.
