Honestly I think that there are very few blogs around that start off by making a comment about another blog as the very first post.  Why would anybody want to read what I have to say if nobody knows who I am?  Well, I can’t answer that question but because of John Robinson, the guy behind SiteFever.com, I am inspired to test whether I will be able to copy some of the ideas that John has presented at his blog.

I came to learn about John’s blog because we launched our blogs about one month ago and while I was surfing the net to find out about blogging communities and how stuff works, I came across the SiteFever blog.  I got inspired because John had some great posts but when he showed me his stats in the post off to a good start I went to check my stats.

The blog I launched is called AntPhilosophy.com but a huge difference between Johns blog and AntPhilosophy.com (besides the fact that John writes better and obviously have a lot more knowledge in blogging and internet marketing in general), is that my blog was in Danish while Johns blog was in English.

I thought to myself that if I could get just 5 times the visitors that I had on the Danish blog (about 1/10 of SiteFevers stats), then that would really be something.  Then I came across John Chow’s blog and he inspired me to do two things. First thing was the domain name, which is simply my name mikaelrieck.com and the second thing was that John Chow wrote in his ebook, that English wasn’t his native language. That was when I thought to myself that if he could blog in English, then I was only coming up with excuses for myself.

So there you have it.  I have many great idols online but the two people (first John Robinson and secondly John Chow) were the ones that made me start this blog and hopefully build it into a blog worth reading on a daily basis.  I’ll do my very best to make you come back for more.

As Anthony Robbins would have said…. Live With Passion!
